Build Update

Update #2: Construction has finished on The Rudy Project house, and proud homeowner Crystal is set to move-in next week! Sending Crystal and her boys lots of luck and love to fill their new home. We look forward to celebrating with them at the Dedication of their house and the picnic shelter later this spring. Check back here often for the latest details on the upcoming Dedication!

Update #1: On June 2, Habitat Catawba Valley broke ground on a new house that is being built as part of The Rudy Project, a campaign to build a Habitat house and a community picnic shelter in honor of late Mayor Rudy Wright. Members of the Wright family were there to kick off the project, along with public officials and members of the Alcantara family, the future owners of the house.

Thank you all for joining us for the groundbreaking ceremony, and a special thanks to the Rotary Club of Catawba Valley for your $2,500 contribution to The Rudy Project!
