Schedule a Pickup in Catawba County

 

If your items are not located in Catawba County, please contact your county’s Habitat ReStore. You may locate a ReStore near you by clicking here. 

The ReStore truck will pick up your gently used donations for free. Please include clear, well-lit photos of the outside (front and back) of each item and the inside (for appliances or furniture pieces that open up). We will contact you in 1-2 business days about a possible pick up date.
NOTICE: Scheduled pick up items may be refused if in poor condition or deemed unsellable.

    How Your Donation Helps

    When you donate furniture, hardware, construction materials and more to ReStore Catawba Valley,  transactions directly fund Habitat Catawba Valley’s mission to build more homes.

    What can I Donate?

    New and gently used furniture, appliances, antiques, collectibles, books, jewelry, lighting, building materials, construction materials, corporate gift in kind donations are all welcome in our ReStore!

    Can you pick up my items?

    Drop your donated items around back at the ReStore and we will gladly help you unload them! If you are unable to drop off, call 828.327.7467 and select option 1 to schedule a pickup.

    Pickups usually need to be scheduled a few days to a week out. We try to prioritize higher value pickups so if you need to get rid of your items quickly, bring them by!

    Donate to ReStore: Criteria

    Due to state and federal regulations, space limitations, and/or safety issues, we are not able to accept the following items:

    • Shower Doors
    • Garage Doors
    • Dishwashers
    • Gas Appliances
    • Appliances in-need-of-repair
    • Tube TVs or Console TVs
    • Used Ladders
    • Console Stereos
    • Unframed Glass or Mirrors
    • Clothing or Shoes
    • Used Sheets, Blankets or Comforters
    • Used Curtains/Draperies
    • Vinyl, Metal or Wood Blinds with Cords
    • Used Tires
    • Used Computers, Laptops, Faxes or Printers
    • Waterbeds & Waterbed Frames
    • Used Mattresses & Box Springs
    • Sleeper Sofa Mattresses
    • Bunk Beds (Please Ask)
    • Futons
    • Used Power Bed Foundations
    • Baby Cribs
    • Baby Car Seats
    • Baby Changing Tables
    • Stuffed Animals (Unless Vintage)
    • Used Paint or Used Stain
    • Oil-based Paints and Stains
    • Sprayers with Chemicals left inside
