When asked how she felt and what she did when she found out she was accepted into Habitat’s program Mahongany said, “I was very excited because this is my third time trying to get into the program. I’m ready to become a homeowner and to be able to call this home mine!”
The family believes becoming homeowners will change their lives for the better. Having a yard for the girls to play in means a lot to them. It’s right up there with not having to share a small bedroom, and not having another tenant living above them!
