Three key components come together to create a Habitat ReStore: Donations, Sales, and Volunteers. Each component calls for community involvement.
Individuals and businesses around Catawba County love Habitat and keep the store well supplied. We accept all types of donations from new and gently used furniture, housewares and accessories, fabric and books, and building materials. Sales from Habitat ReStores help fund our building mission, to provide safe and affordable homes. Pretty simple really; the more we sell the more we can build. Because our inventory is donated it’s constantly changing and can be unpredictable too. We encourage you to shop early and often!
Volunteers make the difference. Staff led, but heart driven! Volunteers sort, clean, price, merchandise, lift, load, bake, chat, and care, they create customers and grow sales all by giving time and themselves.
