National Women Build Week

Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's are calling on women nationwide to unite and build up their communities during the 11th annual National Women Build Week (NWBW). This is a unique opportunity where women can join other women all across the country to work together to build decent and affordable homes for Habitat homeowners. Women Build provides a place for women to learn the skills needed to build a home, but that does not exclude men from participating!

Join us as we help build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter during National Women Build Week!

NWBW Lowe's Clinic
Tuesday, May 8 - 6-7pm
Lowe's - 1550 21 St Dr SE, Hickory, NC

During this hour-long clinic, you will gain skills, try out the newest tools, and learn all the construction basics needed to help Habitat build something better in our community. Maybe this is your first time giving construction a try, maybe you're interested in brushing up on some old skills, or maybe you want to invite the next generation of your family to join you at the work table! This is a great opportunity to carry on the tradition! The NWBW Lowe's Clinic is open to all genders and all volunteers age 14+.

We will be serving on site at Northstone from 8-12, and will end the day with a celebration of the women who are changing our community for the better! Food will be provided.
